The ‘education’ programme attached to Blackbird is aimed at a wider audience of schools (16+), universities, Performing Arts students, individual adult learners, debating societies, Book Clubs – basically anyone that wants to interact with the theatre of today. It particularly focuses on engaging people in the questions the play raises, and facilitating and encouraging debate.

FREE POST-SHOW DISCUSSIONS with the actors are scheduled for all venues on the tour to encourage the audience to talk about the production. The running time is approximately 90 minutes without an interval and the post-show discussion will follow on in the auditorium. The post-show discussions will take place on:
